Trichotomy

Trichotomy (Jen) (she/her) is a cis-female who is bisexual, poly, switch and has been in the BDSM lifestyle since the early 1990s. She has been a bottom, a Top, a submissive/slave, and a Dominant. In fact, given her poly lifestyle, she frequently manages all of those roles at the same time!

Jen is fascinated by the study of power in human interactions, and understands that ALL interactions between people – from vanilla to kink – involve some degree of power dynamics. She believes that everyone can learn to manage interactions better by becoming aware of power structures – both explicit and implicit – within relationships. She has taught classes about and lived experiences of creating and maintaining intentional asymmetrical power dynamics in vanilla and kink settings.

As a bottom, Jen is a heavy masochist. As a Top, she has a very large collection of toys, and she enjoys using each one of them to give her bottoms a full range of experiences, whether that be friendly, educational, sensual, silly, sexual, dominating, sadistic, cathartic, or transcendental.

This class is geared toward experienced impact/sensory bottoms. This is for bottoms who already understand and practice affirmative consent, SSC/RACK/PRICK/etc, basic safety protocols, and negotiations.

This class will teach you how to work with your Top to help create a fantastic scene together. You will learn how to…
• communicate explicitly your desires, needs, and limits (beyond basic negotiations)
• prepare yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally for the scene
• cooperate with and help your Top appropriately
• show good scene manners
• communicate in a way that gives your Top a full picture of your status
• engage in aftercare that gives BOTH participants what they need

How to be a Fantastic Top
This class is geared toward experienced impact/sensory Tops. This is for Tops who already understand and practice affirmative consent, SSC/RACK/PRICK/etc, basic safety protocols, and negotiations.

This class will teach you how to “up your game” as a Top. It will teach you how to turn your play into a true SCENE. One that…
• feels intentional and lacks disruptions
• makes your bottom feel seen, felt, heard, and emotionally safe
• creates the tone you desire through style of communication and body language
• uses multiple genres of toys and techniques to vary the intensity and mood
• leaves your bottom in the headspace that they seek
