Hello, all you community-minded Deviants! So many of you have indicated that you’re interested in volunteering at Deviance but you’re not sure where to start or you’re feeling a little shy… we’ve got an event coming up just for you.

Right after the Quarterly Town Hall wraps up at 2pm on October 11th, we're keeping the momentum going with a Volunteer Open House! If running the club behind the scenes has ever crossed your mind, this is the day to come find out what that actually looks like.

2:00pm – 3:00pm — Mix & Mingle Open to any member who's even a little curious about volunteering. No application needed to show up for this part — just come hang out, have some refreshments, and chat with some of  the people already doing the work (and each other!). Ask us anything.

3:00pm – 4:00pm — Role Training For those members that have already already submitted a volunteer application and gone through the vetting process before the 12th, stay after the mingle and head into your training track:

• Dungeon Monitor (DM)

• Dungeon Minion (opening/closing procedures, stocking, inventory — the behind-the-scenes stuff that keeps the space running running)

• Ambassador

• Front Desk

We'll also be running a separate overview for anyone interested in helping out on the marketing, promotions, or event coordination side of things — no in-person role required for that track.
